Dr. Douglas Barnaby, MD, MBA, MS
Head of Medical Services
Dr. Barnaby is a board-certified emergency medicine physician, researcher, and academic leader with a passion for enhancing healthcare through innovation and personalized solutions. He has held academic appointments at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and most recently served as an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. A graduate of Williams College, Dr. Barnaby earned his MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a Master of Science in Clinical Research Methods. Drawing on his experience supporting the players, staff, and families of the New York Mets, Dr. Barnaby has developed a deep understanding of the unique healthcare needs of professional athletes and their loved ones. At HomeField Partners, Dr. Barnaby combines his clinical expertise, research background, and innovative approach to deliver exceptional, customized care for the families of professional athletes, ensuring peace of mind both on and off the field.

Dr. Adrian Aurrecoechea, MD, MPH
Director of Latino Services
Dr. Aurrecoechea is a bilingual board-certified emergency medicine physician and public health expert dedicated to providing empathetic and culturally tailored care. Born and raised in South Florida, from a Cuban and Dominican family, he is deeply connected to Latino communities, and continues to support healthcare services and health strategy in Latin America. Dr. Aurrecoechea earned his MD from the University of California, San Francisco, and an MPH from Harvard University. He has extensive experience in managing teams and improving outcomes in challenging situations. At HomeField Partners, he oversees services designed to support Latino athletes and their families with sensitivity and expertise.

Dr. Trung Nghia Ton, MD, MBA, MPH
Head of Strategy and Operations
Dr. Ton is a physician with a background in emergency medicine, and ex-McKinsey strategy consultant with global experience in healthcare financing, system design, and health tech innovation and strategy. He holds an MD from the University of Newcastle Australia, an MBA from the University of Oxford, and an MPH from Harvard University. Dr. Ton is an accomplished healthcare startup operator and a former partner at a US-based venture studio, and leads Foundry Health, a global specialist physician-led healthcare consulting firm. He is also a commissioned military officer and veteran, recognized for his strategic expertise in healthcare innovation globally. At HomeField Partners, Dr. Ton leads strategic development and operational excellence to deliver premium services to families of professional athletes.

Dr. Justin LaCorte, DO
Medical Director, Pediatrics
Dr. Justin LaCorte is a dual board-certified physician in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine, dedicated to the care and treatment of children. With years of experience in a busy Level 1 trauma centers, community emergency departments, and as the Director of a pediatric urgent care center, Dr. LaCorte is passionate about providing expert, compassionate care to children and their families during critical moments.Dr. LaCorte completed his undergraduate studies at Colgate University and earned his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He trained at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where he completed his Pediatrics residency, served as Chief Resident, and pursued an additional three-year fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
